It is so complicated for me choosing just one book and film as a favorite. I'm always changing, my likes always change, I cannot say I like just one thing, because that doesn't exist, maybe I think I like something so much now, but later it won't.
At this moment I'm reading by third time a book called "The unbearable levity of the being ", it is a novel - essay, that talk about the existence of the eternal return's myth; this myth says that all thing that happen are going to happen again and again and again and it will go on till forever.Is because of this that all things we do become heavy, we must think about everything because it will happen again.
On the other hand, as our actions don't repeat till forever, our lifes are nothing, because our lifes are brief, in the moment we finish doing an action this action doesn't exist any more because it has passed, so don't care if our life is happy, sad, exciting or boring, because it passed and that means our actions are not heavy, so they are light.
Another thing that is related with the myth is that we are living for first time so we make a lot of mistakes, this life should be like a practice of life, when we learn about our mistakes and in the next life we would do the things better than the before life.According to this, there would exist a different world by each different decision we take, a world if the answer is yes, and a world if the answer is no, so we could know the consequences of our actions, and do all thing knowing what will happen.
At the same time, the novel talks about the four people's life and how each of them choice to live in a different way, in a heavy or light way inside their relationship as lovers between them (Tomás and Sabina, Teresa and Tomás,Sabina and Francis). It talks about their point of view about cain of love and true love, introducing us in their feeling, memories and dreams.
I read this book for first time for school,last year. I think this is a great book due to makes you reflect about eternal return's myth and about relationships.
Another books I like are "The miserables" and "The forgotten garden".The firt I read it when I was 16 years for the school, after I had the test I read it again because I like it. The second I read it when I was 16 too, but I read by my own, not for school. Both are different and have so different plot.
I don't watch so much movies, I prefer reading. I believe a film I like much is "the ice age". Although it is a cartoon movue, that is made for child, I love it, because the plot is fun and exciting, also the characters are fun and tender.
My favorite character is Sid; it is a sloth very tender, I think it is so sweet and silly, I like the stupid things it does and cause disaster.
I like this film since I'm a child, I used to watch it so much, now I don't watch it much, but i like it, when the next ice age's movies have released I've gonne to watched them to the cinema.
